This might be a strong point if your current power supply is not enough to handle the GeForce GTX 980 Ti.
Reasons to consider GeForce RTX 2060 Super: 53% higher gaming performance. The Nvidia GTX 1660 Super is the best 16-series card in Nvidia's Turing line-up, being ever so slightly slower (3-5 percent) than the GTX 1660 Ti, but offering much better bang for your buck in. Earlier this week, we reviewed Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2060.Priced at £330/€370/$350, it's the first mainstream graphics card to hit the market with hardware ray tracing support. Our measurements clarify whether this also proves itself in gaming practice and in comparison with Nvidia's graphic cards, such as the Geforce GTX 1660 Super, the Geforce GTX 1660 Ti and the Geforce RTX 2060. AMD praises the Radeon RX 5600 XT in the test as the optimal graphics card for Full-HD gaming. The GTX 1080TI is better in brute force but the RTX 2060 Super has Turing processors to it can do ASW, VRSS and Ray Tracing. The choice depends on the price of the TI. Overall the GTX1080Ti is about 15% faster. In this test at ultra settings, the 2060 was 6% faster than the 1660 Ti. I've also tested all games at every single available setting preset, which are arranged from lowest at the bottom to highest up the top. I've got the RTX 2060 shown by the red bars, and the GTX 1660 Ti shown by the purple bars below. 
Monstrously better average performance (around 68%).
